Deposit Refunds and Cancellation Policy:
Deposits are fully refundable if cancellation is made 14 days prior to the scheduled trip or in the event of bad weather or unsafe boating conditions. The decision to cancel a trip for weather is at the sole discretion of the captain unless a named storm advisory (tropical storms, hurricanes, etc) has been issued by the NWS for the Upper Keys (see tropical weather policy below.) First consideration will be given to rescheduling your trip. If a mutually agreeable date cannot be scheduled, your deposit will be refunded as follows. Deposits made with a credit card will be refunded on the same card. If a check was submitted, a refund check will be issued within 10 business days of the cancellation date.
Cancellations made within 14 days are not refundable. Cancellations that occur within 48 hours of the scheduled trip and are not weather related, Islamorada Guides Club reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee equaling 50% of the full trip charge, less your deposit. The cancellation fee will be charged to the credit card used to pay the deposit to reserve the trip. The charge on your credit card will appear as Islamorada Guides Club and will be subject to a 5% handling fee. This fee assists with regaining costs associated with arranging the charter and processing credit card transactions.
Tropical Weather Policy:
In the unlikely event of a Hurricane Evacuation Order
for the Upper Keys, we will refund any monies deposited for reservations
scheduled during and immediately following the Evacuation Order.
